6. Children's Privacy

RSI's primary audience is professionals, educators, and organizations. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of 13.

For K-12 institutional engagements, RSI collects only organizational and staff contact information — not student data. Schools and districts act as the data controller for their students, and any student participation in RSI programs is governed by the institution's own data practices and required parental consents.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS/SSL encryption for data in transit, access controls, and employee confidentiality practices. Payment data is handled exclusively by PCI-compliant payment processors.

In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify affected individuals within 30 days as required by Colorado law (C.R.S. § 6-1-716).

8. Data Retention

  • Account and enrollment data: Retained while your account is active, plus 3 years after closure
  • Payment records: Retained for 7 years for tax and legal compliance
  • Marketing opt-outs: Honored indefinitely
